The PIC Center exists to decrease the crime rate, reduce recidivism, and combat the opioid crisis in Wilson County, TN.

The PIC Center acts as a liaison between the court, treatment programs, and clients. Its primary function is to connect individuals in Wilson County to appropriate treatment and resources regardless of if they are justice involved. It is important to note that the PIC Center does not provide direct treatment but ensures that clients are linked to the necessary services for their recovery.

Core Functions

  • Intake and Assessment: Evaluating court-referred clients to determine their needs. 

  • Level of Care Determination: Assessing the required level of care and making appropriate treatment referrals. 

  • Case Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive case records and ensuring adherence to court-related reporting requirements for progress monitoring. 

  • Central Resource Center: Providing treatment options and resources to individuals in Wilson County who are seeking such for substance use disorder(s)
